FROM COMMONWEALTH GAMES TO GOLD COAST

Same venue but now time for everyone to join in. Firstly, though, we left you at the top 8 qualifying stage of the Commonwealth Teams. Australia Gold, Scotland White, India A and the President’s Team, an English invitation team, reached the semi-finals with Australia Gold and India A winning through to the final.

There, the Indians had two good sets and could afford the luxury of playing a grand slam in part-score to win gold 103-65.

On then to the Gold Coast Congress. Over the week-end, you could either play Pairs or Swiss Pairs.
