CANCELLATION OF CANTERBURY INTER-CLUB TEAMS
We received the following message from the Canterbury Regional Committee and have been
asked to post to ensure everyone affected knows. I am sure the reason needs no further explanation.
"Good evening
This is a message to confirm that we are cancelling the Interclub Teams tomorrow. It would be inappropriate to be playing bridge under the circumstances, and also there may be logistical and safety issues.Mary Buckland (Chair/Treasurer), Janis Franc, Giles Hancock (Secretary), Tony Biddington (Tournaments), Darryl Dowthwaite"
On behalf of all at New Zealand Bridge, we send our condolences to all those affected by today's tragic events in Christchurch.
