TOPS Lockdown Teams 2021 - Invitation to enter
Given it’s likely we will be in Level 3 or 4 lockdown for the next few weeks, the Top of the South regional committee has given approval for another online teams’ competition using the Bridge Base Online (BBO) platform.
This is open to all bridge players, not just those in the TOPS region.
How it works:
- Teams of at least four players with two pairs playing in each match
- 16-board matches played on the Bridge Base Online (BBO) platform
- A draw will be communicated by email
- At the completion of each match, the winning captain emails the result (in imps) to the competition coordinator at ray.curnow@nzbridge.co.nz
- Teams negotiate when they play. If possible, at least two matches should be played each week.
- It is helpful, but not essential, for each team to have at least one experienced BBO player (over 100 logins)
- Ray Curnow will maintain the VPs points table and advise teams of the week by week draw
- Wayne Smith will be available to provide technical support if required
How to enter:
- Email your team list to ray.curnow@nzbridge.co.nz
- Your team list needs the following:
- Player names
- Player email addresses
- Player phone numbers (useful but not essential)
- BBO usernames
- Each team needs a nominated captain
- Closing date for entries: Wednesday 25 August.
Once we have confirmed entries, instructions will be emailed to team captains.
