Inter-Provincial Teams Championships
Entry is by pre-qualification. Trials were held earlier this year. The IP Finals will be held on Real Bridge starting 7pm on the Friday evening 19th November 2021 and finishing around 7pm on the Sunday evening. There are seven regions (Auckland Northland, Waikato Bays, Central Districts, Wellington, Top of the South, Canterbury and Otago Southland). There are 4 main categories, Open, Women, Intermediate and Senior. Teams are made up of either 2 or 3 pairs. The event will be a double round-robin of 12 board matches.
Auckland-Northland will be defending the Dougal McLean Trophy. Points are awarded depending on the finishing place of each region's teams.
There will also be a 4 team Youth competition which will start at 9am on Saturday November 20th and will be a double round-robin with a 24 board final and 3rd/4th play-off on Sunday afternoon. The Youth event does not count towards the Dougal McLean.
