Championship Team finals are 29 November until 1 December 2024 in Wellington

Entries will be free

Format will depend on number of entries.

You may enter once only in each grade for which you qualify –

• Open
• Women
• Senior (64+, so born on or before 31st December 1959)
• Intermediate. (You must be rated Intermediate or Junior as of 1 January 2024) 

You may enter multiple events in the OWS- Intermediate cannot enter both Intermediate and OWS. Selectors will discuss with successful candidates’ preferences where more than one OWS entry has been made.

Players must be a member of an affiliated Top of the South region bridge club and play regularly at that club. Players must be available to represent Top of the South at the regional championship teams finals Friday 29 November until Sunday 1st December, 2024, in Wellington.

Successful players will be expected to play at least 2 tournaments as a pair or team during 2024

All successful trialist will be expected to make every effort be “match ready” for the Finals in November / December.

Any necessary replacements will be chosen by the 2024 Selectors in consultation with the Top of South Regional Committee.

Successful players will undertake to represent Top of South with appropriate sportsmanship and behaviour.
