Each night the BridgeTV program will commence at 6.45pm with discussions of the results of the previous day and analysis of some interesting hands. GREAT OPENING OF BRIDGE TV.com.au

We had hundreds of viewers for the Open Teams match between Australia and Norway, a world champion team and Australia won 29 to 25.

The commentary on Monday night was great with two Australian bridge legends who are often team mates and partners, Ron Klinger and Matt Mullamphy.

They were joined by our Chef de Mission, Ian Thomson and a member of the legends team. We learnt about submarine bids and Ian had been to the teams captain's meeting and told us about the rules for going to the toilets at Salsomaggiore with International flags.

On the second night we welcomed two members of bridge royalty in Australia, Paul Marston and Barbara Travis as commentators.

Hopefully, Ian Thomson, the Australian chef de mission will join us from Italy to give the team line ups for matches, review previous rounds and provide an insight into the World Championships and the Australian and NZ players.

A huge amount of work has been done to build a special video website for BridgeTV which has all the information on the Australian teams, player profiles, the draws for each day, system cards and the results.

It also has videos with reports from the Gold Coast Congress, interviews, masterclasses, directors rulings, news from the bridge world with more coming in the future
