    Hi Ross

Masterpoints are explained here on our website under the Masterpoints tab.  Click on this link: http://www.nzbridge.co.nz/master-points-explained.html

The Rating Points calculation is in the manual, but here is how it is done

The previous year's Rating points minus 20%
Then the total A and B masterpoints earned for the year, plus C points calculated as a partial B point, are added to the net total.

    eg last year's RP was 69-20% = 55.2
    last year's A points were 12, B points 26 and C points 63 (.63 of a B point)

New RP = 93.83 and rounded up to 94

I can always check RPs for anyone if they wish me to.
    Cheers Karen

     Hi Karen

Thanks for this, nice and clear- a few minutes with paper and pencil now confirms I understand it and can explain it to others if asked

    Cheers
